Account deletion

Delete your Vocabyx account.

You can request deletion without having the Vocabyx app installed. Send the request from the email address linked to your account.

How it works

  1. Send the pre-filled email request from the email address associated with your Vocabyx account.
  2. We will send a confirmation request to that account email address before taking any action.
  3. Once confirmed, we will permanently delete your account and associated account data.

Data deleted

Your account profile and account-related content, including dictionaries and words that remain associated with your account, are deleted permanently after confirmation.

Data retained

Locally stored learning progress is not held by Vocabyx and is not part of the request. We may retain only the minimum information required to meet legal obligations, resolve a dispute, or prevent abuse.

If you can still access the app, you can also delete your account directly in Settings → Profile → Delete account. Read our Privacy Policy for more detail about data retention.
